1963 born in Vienna

1968 starts to learn the Violoncello, from 1977-84 with Prof.Valentin Erben at the Wiener Musikhochschule

1980 Founding member of the Artis-Quartet

1982-83 Member of the Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna

1982-84 Principal Cellist of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra

1984/85 Studies in Cincinnati, OH (USA) with the LaSalle Quartet

1993-98 Guestprofessor for chambermusic at the Musikhochschule Graz

Masterclasses in the USA (University of Charleston, University of Cincinnati), Hong Kong, France (Pablo-Casals-Festival Prades) and Austria (Summerakademy Vienna-Prague-Budapest).
First performances like: Gottfried v. Einem "Music for Cello solo op.109" (Vienna, 1997)
Herwig Reiter "Concerto for Cello and Orchestra" (Berlin, 2001)
Alexander Zemlinsky Works for Cello and Piano (Vienna, 2006) Recital CD with the cello & piano work by Johanna Müller-Hermann, Karl Weigl and Anton Webern to be released in 2006 (Nimbus Records)
